New camera or one that was working and stopped? What exactly is the error message?

I dont remember the error verbatim as the camera is 4 hours away from me, i bought the camera back in August, it was working fine and then quit...when i went to my hunting property and tried to restart it it gave me the SIM card error, i pulled out the simcard and it worked for a few days and then quit again.

SIM card error could be SIM, but it also could be SD card, antenna, or other things. It’s a generic “can’t get on the network” message.

You should be able to get a SIM from Verizon. Just make sure they put the new SIM’s ICCID on your camera’s info on your account.

Ok, i replaced the SD card while i was there with a new one, i guess i could try replacing the antenna. As far as Verizon putting the new ICCID number on my cameras info i run this camera the the Spartan subscription instead of my cell phone plan, does that create any other issues?

If you replace the SIM, you have to make sure that whatever company is supplying your data puts the new ICCID on that camera.
