Camera has stopped sending pictures and pending status report

The camera won’t send pictures and the status report is pending. Also won’t allow me to format the SD card

    Is this a new setup or one that was working and stopped?

    John this is one that has been working before. Haven’t used it since earlier this year and went to set it back up and I can’t get it to send picture.

    I am having the same problem.  It was working fine and then just stopped.  Batteries have only been in for 2 weeks and still have power.  Although it looks as if I'll need to change them soon.

    Sean the battery meter shows voltage, not how much life is left in the batteries. If it's showing low, especially if you are using lithium batteries then there's a good chance the batteries are dead or nearly dead. If changing the batteries doesn't get you fixed up can you start a new topic so we can keep the issues separate please.

    John.  Thanks for the feedback.  The power voltage is showing 4.80v (or 2 out of 5 orange bars on the graphic).  This is my first set of batteries and my first Spartan camera.  When do I need to change them?  They've not been in very long, but it is capturing a lot of pictures.

    Cell cameras are very hard on batteries, compared to non-cell cameras. I set up scheduled pictures throughout the day and if using lithium batteries when the voltage starts to drop I know I have to get there pretty quickly. Alkaline batteries will hold on a little longer once the power dips but don't take as many pictures overall as the lithium. If the battery is getting low and I start missing getting some of the scheduled pics I know I have to get there pretty quickly.

    Oh and 4.8 is pretty much dead dead for any type of battery.

    Tyler, try defaulting the camera in it's menu and formatting the SD card as well. I would also cancel all of your pending commands. When you turn the camera on does it find signal? Where are you purchasing your data from?

    Best thing is to format it in the cameras menu. Also if you could take a picture of the SD card and post it so I can check it out. See if it passes the hello test in the menu under diagnostics.

    Is there a way to remotely tell the camera to take a picture, to make sure it is working?

    For the ATTb there is but you need to have the cameras phone number entered in the settings and real time turned on and active on the camera. If the camera isn't checking in there's no way to get real time turned on remotely..
