Camera not working, Won't send Pics, Will send a Status report

I have read similar posts.  And I can go and format the card, but I was hoping I don't have to drive and do that.  Camera stop sending pics a few days ago but will send status reports.  batteries are new.

 

1.  Do I need to purchase premium credits? I did this yesterday, even though I was unsure if I needed them.  I currently have 7.

2.  Is it possible for me to have used up my data plan of 1 GB for 3 months.  Billing started on 9/21 and shows to be ACTIVE

    If you were out of data, you would have gotten email about your plan renewing (unless there was a problem with your credit card). You also got a status report at 8 this morning so it’s unlikely that your data plan is the problem. (Assuming you are using Spartan data plan, and if you are, premium credit is included so you don’t need to buy credits for this camera.)

    Have you looked on the status report page of the app? There should be a green Format button there. You can use that to request an SD card format. That may not happen until the scheduled event 1 time, whatever that is. It’s usually at midnight but you may have changed it.

    Do you have a picture of the SD card you are using, maybe from a web site?

    1.  I am using the Spartan data plan, However, I bought the credits in hopes that would fix my issue.

    2.  I can hit the green format button on the card, I just hated to lose all of the images on the card.  I have status reports scheduled at various time, and Auto pictures.  

    3.  I am using a premium ultra SD card that meets Spartan requirements.  However, the SD card is about a year old, because I encountered a similar issue last year and replaced the SD card at that time.

    If I choose to format, and it works, would it perform that at the next "take a photo" or the next scheduled status report?

    Hopefully the next time the camera contacts the server, which could be either of those, but I can’t say for sure.

    Instead of a format, I changed the SD card and now it is working.  An interesting thing though, the camera stopped recording images to the SD card on 11/21, 6 pm.  However the camera still continued to transmit images until 11/25, 11:54 PM(those images are available on the Server only) and then even one more image on 11/26.

    The camera can transmit images that it can’t save to the SD card. It sounds like you had a bad SD card. Glad you got it fixed.
