Assuming these are AT&T Buy-A-Session, have you considered replacing the SIMs?

One of the cameras has a brand new SIM that I bought this month.  Neither camera sent my noon picture today.  Also it appears that a third camera is doing the same thing, it did not send the noon picture that I had programmed in.  I am headed to go check them shortly.

I had a couple of cameras acting flaky the same way you describe, going down for a day or two, coming back up. I replaced the SIMs and that has fixed the problems. Although it would be unusual, it’s not impossible that a new SIM would be marginal or bad.

Lance, what APN's are you trying? Also if you are trying to refresh the firmware that could possibly reset the APN so even if you've changed it before changing and trying the other option might help.

Just checked them, full batteries and had signal. Neither were taking pictures but passed hello test and would send a picture. I changed and formatted SD, set to deafaults.  They still would not work.  They both sent a status report at midnight, which I don't have set up on them.  But they took no pictures after that.  Just have to wait and they will start working again in a day or 2.  Just wished I could fix this.

I think they were BR and BL.  Cant remember, but they would only work on one.

The midnight status report is there by default and the only thing you can change is the time. That forces the cameras to check in once a day no matter what.

10-4. I have it set for a picture at 12 and status report at 13 on first 2 camera settings.

    Do you have premium credits?

It shows I still have 2. On one of the cameras it renewed yesterday at 17:00. Shows good until 12-30

On the cameras that aren't sending does it show as having a current, non expired, credit in use? Is the time zone set in the camera settings on the app?

They both did show to have credit and the TZ is set. I checked to see and they were not even taking pictures. Green light showed motion detection. Both cameras started working again just after midnight.

Any other ideas of anything I could try?
Looking at the premium credits this is what I had.
Cam 2 does not expire until 12/6
Cam 4 ran thru 11/30 9:33 and did not pick back up until 11/30 at 19:19. I had a reserve of credits.
Both these cameras quit sending pics at midnight 11/29, the start of the 12/30 day. When I went to check them yesterday 12/30 they both they would not take pictures and had not stored anything on the card since midnight.
They passed the hello test and would manually take a picture. The green light showed they detected motion.
Any idea of anything it can be? They do this every week or 2 and there is always a coon squirrel or deer to get a pic of.

Do you ever use start/stop times? Does anyone else have admin access to your account?

I do not use start sop times.  I went in the settings and there are none set.  Only setting are taking pics and status report for 12:00, 17:00 and 13:00.  No one has admin.

If someone got in and changed my settings, wouldnt it show up in my settings after a status report was sent?

If someone changed the settings it would show in the command history

The same 2 cameras quit sending pics again, both around midnight. Both cameras have signal, battery power, credits, proper sd cards, utd firmware. I have 4 of the same model and the other 2 are working. The 5th is working and it is a ATTxb.

I’m sure like last time they will start working again in a day. I just don’t know why they keep doing this.

If you go to the cameras can you post a picture of the information screens please. Also if you could post pics of those status reports from the cameras acting up maybe someone at tech could look and see if there's any error logs. You will probably have to click on the settings menu on your phone browser and change top desktop view in order to see the insert image icon. Post from the very top all the way to the bottom of the status report showing the SD card info.

When you say they aren't taking pictures have you looked at the SD card and see no new pictures or you just aren't getting them sent to the app?

I didn’t check that this time, but last time they were not. Both of these cameras are working again. On one of them, I retrieved it yesterday and did a reset, formatted card, tried another one and it still didn’t work as usual. I just left it sitting on the counter in the house turned on and it sent pics this am when I walked by it. The other one still in the field that also quit sending pics started sending pics again after midnight. I never touched it, just walked by it to see if it would send pics yesterday. It’s like these 2 cameras just quit working at the same time every week or 2 at about midnight. Both of them are in areas where there are lots of pictures taken of different game at feeders so it’s pretty obvious when they stop working.

Even though you didn't check the SD cards before formatting them, you can look on the portal and see if there are gaps in the picture numbers. If there are, the cameras were taking pictures but couldn't send them. If there aren't gaps, the cameras weren't taking pics during the "down" time.

One of the 2 cameras that quit working a week ago quit again last night at around midnight. I took the other one out of service so I’m not sure if it’s working or not. It appears that this happens every 7 days. Looking back the first post was 14 days ago and the second post was 7 days ago. I’m bound to have something screwed up on my settings that makes it quit taking pics once a week....

I’ll bet it starts working again after midnight tonight.

On the Ghost, there is a workdays setting so you could accidentally set the camera not to work on a particular day but that’s not available on any other model. I have no idea what setting you could have that would cause this. Definitely a puzzle.

At 1:13 am I started getting pics again. Go figure.

I would check those APN's again and see if they are the same as the ones that you have no issues with. I would also be interested to see if you switched cameras around if the ones that stop working and the ones you have no issues with go on vacation periodically.

I have not had time to check that but I will. As the usual schedule the 1 I still have running quit last night. I’ll bet again I get pics past midnight!
