ICCID not valid

You may be going through the part that expects you to buy a data plan. Look at the bottom of the screen for something along the lines of camera already activated.

BTW, there’s no need to remove your cameras from your account or the app. Just leave them there during the down period. I have several old 3G cameras that are still on my app (hidden) even though I haven’t used them as cell cams in several years.

Ok, deleting the cameras is where I may have messed something up. I do not have any other options to select, other than the "next" tab. I'll try deleting the app and reinstalling. I'll keep you posted, and as always, thanks for the help

Deleted the app and downloaded again. Same result "iccid is not valid"

I also looked for a way to delete my Spartan account and just create a new one, but I can't find an option to delete my account. When I try to register a new account, I get an error stating that the email address is already registered. That's why I was looking for a way to delete my account. by the way, cameras still working fine sending text pictures. I really loved using the app though, which is why I'm wanting to get set back up.

Maybe Johnny will have some suggestions. I’m out of ideas. I’d get in touch with tech support.

I got it figured out. I had to cancel the plan on att.com/buyasession, because the sim was already active, prior to registering the camera in the app. How I figured it out was I scanned the bar code on a camera that I hadn't purchased a new data plan for yet, and everything worked as it should, adding the camera to the app. So there must be a sequence where you have to register the camera in the app first, then go to att.com/buasession and buy your plan, then come back to the app and finish the setup.

Nevermind, that wasn't it either. Thought I was on to something.

I have always bought my BAS plan first, then added the camera to my account. Have you tried entering the IMEI manually instead of scanning? There should be something at the bottom of the screen to tell the app that the camera is already activated.

Try going to my.spartancamera.com and adding the camera that way. Log in and go to camera management and there should be an add new camera option at the top.

Final resolution…. I have it. I had to use the iccid sim that came with the camera. Just entered that number. Didn’t actually put it in the camera. That’s how I got past that step. Once the camera was on the app, it automatically recognized the sim I’m using and reflected that ICCID. Now I have a new issue tho, but with my 3G cameras. Attbuyasession will not allow me to buy a new plan. When I enter the imei and iccid, I get a message that states they will no longer sell a data plan for 3G only devices, due to being phased out February 2022.... So, "someone" has 3 new cameras on the way, via the 3g upgrade promotion lol
