What’s the difference between camera locator and camera tracker setting Thanks

  Locator is the basic GPS system on the camera, tracker is what it allows it to send it's location if stolen even is the camera is turned off antenna disabled and the batteries removed.

  You would think this should be on by default. Does this use more battery?

  It isn’t on during shipping and transit because it does use battery. It’s only accessible from the app so a thief can’t turn it off from the camera.
