Cell phone number verification for texts

I have done the email verification process successfully. How do you repeat that process for cell phone numbers if they have been blocked? Example, the set up has you enter your phone number as if it's an email address,,,1112223333@vzwpixs.com. How do you duplicate the email verification process for this? Thank you for your help.

    You can try to enter it the same way but there's a good chance it isn't going to work. The cell providers treat the pictures like they are spam a lot of the time so they get blocked. Email and text are not nearly as reliable as the app for receiving pictures.

    I think there is a 100% chance that it won't work,,it's not my email address, but rather my phone number. If you have a "fix" for the email method of receiving photos, I would think you would also have one for the text method. Certainly you wouldn't offer a method of receiving photos that is destined for irreversible failure.

    I'm not sure what the fix is that you're talking about for the email, if you mean the verification that's not a 100% fix either. Spartan has been saying for years that email and text aren't the best way to get the pictures. The verification doesn't help if it's the provider blocking the email/text, only if there's a block on the Spartan server side.

    Yes, the email verification. I use the email and text methods as primary because where I work I don't usually have good enough service to use the app or the portal. However texts and emails come through. Maybe this is one of those frustrations that push a guy to use a different brand. Thanks for trying, I do appreciate it

    Maybe try a different email address, or create a new one. This is not anything that Spartan has any control over, it's the cell carriers blocking the pics. As far as switching brands I don't think there's any other brand that does or did offer pics to email/text. Have you tried the app lately where you work, there's some new download methods for the pics and videos that may help you out.

    I don’t know whether it’s just a typo in your example phone-as-email or whether you actually used that suffix, but the correct suffix is @vzwpix.com not @vzwpixs.com

    I have one camera set to send to my Verizon phone number just to keep an eye on things and success rate is pretty abysmal. Pics come to the app but not as text messages more times than not.

    If you want to try a workaround by sending to email and forwarding to text, you can try this. However, I often get pics hours later than I get them to the app. This is unofficial and unsupported.
