Camera plans to expensive
I have been using Spartan Camera's now for 4 years.
For the life of me I do not understand why they do not fix the trigger speed? My only answer that I can come up with to that question is if you listen to their advertising putting it on a food plot or food station because of the ridiculously slow trigger speed, compared to other cameras
Then the camera eats up data and they make more money.
My gripe with spartan is there data plans I want to support the company but they make it impossible for me to use them in the future for a data plan! I think it's absolutely ridiculous what they charge compared to other companies. Going through your cell phone carrier is a fraction of the cost.
It's absolutely ridiculous that if you do not use up the data it doesn't carry-on to the next month. when I talk to them about these issues basically it's like talking to a tree. I do like these cameras when they work I am finding that if you use these cameras say for the whole season and then some you are definitely going to have issues within two years. I've experienced that...
Thank God for Trailcampro. com where I purchased all of my cameras because trying to get Spartan to answer the phone is a joke!! And that tells me that there are way too many phone calls going to that company, and probably not for a good reason. So they leave us no choice but to look elsewhere next season for a different company of wireless cameras I refuse to continue to support a company that does not support it's customers the bottom line it's all about the dollar and the consistency of the camera working.
And for all of you out there who have never heard of (Trailcampro. com) call them and purchase all of your cameras through them. their customer service hands down is number one in this country all of their employees take every single camera home and put it through rigorous testing they give you a non-bias review. And they answer the phone and they get back to you right away if they don’t.

I’m running over 30 Spartan cameras, various models from the original 3G cameras with the slower trigger speed through the latest GoLive and GoLive II. Only three of them are on feeders, some are on food plots, but many are on travel paths. There are ways to position the cameras to optimize how they work.
The data costs are comparable to many other cell cam brand plans, especially the new plans that you can add a camera to for $5 extra per month. You can monitor your data and choose the plan that works best for your cameras in your circumstances. You can try one of three one-month plans or a three-month plan to determine how much data you need, then commit to a longer plan if it’s less expensive.
Are you leaving a message when you call? Someone will call you back. You can email support@spartancamera.com, you can post here (but you don’t seem to be interested in getting help), and you can also join the Spartan Camera Community on Facebook and get help for many problems/concerns there.
If you believe that TrailCamPro is unbiased, you will want to buy an ocean front lot in Arizona. I have bought cameras from them, I do read their reviews, but I have also seen them really screw up reviews on Spartan Cameras because they didn’t know what they were talking about with specific features. I don’t pay attention to them any more.
