Just wondering what I’m missing or could be the problem?

What is the firmware date on the two cameras? There's a couple ATT cameras that might show up to date but need a manual update. Are you using Spartan data on both cameras?

The a6eb firmware date is 4/12/2022 and the a4gb is 3/23/2022 and both get data from spartan.

When the cameras stop working are they still sending status reports?

Those firmwares should be the most recent. On the one that you keep cleaning the SIM card, use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts and then wipe them off. You can put a single layer of scotch tape on the back (non contact) side of the SIM and reinstall it. On both cameras go into the menu and to diagnostics and then into APN, the password is 123456. The APN should be set to APNsp, if it's not then change it, press the OK button to save the change when it asks you too and then back out to the main menu and take a manual picture. (while in setup press the OK button twice once the camera finds signal). Make sure that your SD cards are to spec, 32gb or smaller, class10, 80mbs or faster and full sized cards (no micros in adapter) always format the cards when you put them in the camera.

I will try that on the A4gb. You say no micro sd card but a6eb model only takes micro sd cards and from what I read up to 128 gb.

That's true, sorry about that. I don't run cards that large but it should be fine. I would change the APN on both though.
