I reset some things in my settings threw the phone app and it is taking forever to “ update “ them. Any reason why it’s taking longer then normal to reset ?

    Ok, it might be an SD card issue. Cancel everything pending and request an SD card format first and then request the settings update. Don't worry about the firmware at the moment.

    I turned off send photos in the wireless setting by accident yesterday afternoon and ever since then I’ve been trying to to turn it back on and it hasn’t updated/ still pending since yesterday afternoon

    Yes, I understand. With send mode off it's only going to check in at the midnight status report. If the settings update was pending last night it should have updated but it didn't. It could be because of the SD card, that's why I'm suggesting the format first. If the camera was close you could go default it or turn it off and back on and the settings should update then.

    I would request the settings update now. That way the format should happen first and then after that the settings will hopefully update

    How long does it normally take for it to format a sd card bc both are still pending

    The cameras won't do anything until they check in sending a picture or status report. Since send mode was turned off they aren't going to send a photo so you will have to wait until the midnight status report for the camera to check in. Once it's up and running again you can set some scheduled events during the day so the camera checks in more often.

    So by formatting the sd card if should update that and where I turned send photos back on at midnight and I should start getting pictures again

    Yes, if it doesn't start sending after that you may have to go to the camera. Usually after the SD card formats it sends a picture with an F on the bottom of it. Since send mode is turned off I'm not sure if it will do that or not.

    Okay so if none of that works after tonight. Do I need to go to the camera and turn it off and change the address card out or what else would I need to do if none of this works after tonight ?

    Bc I need this camera to send my photos 24/7 like it was doing before so if none of this works can I just send it back and get another one or what do I need to do bc This is a brand new camera that won’t fix its self the way it should

    If your camera isn’t far away, cancel all pending commands then go to the camera and either format the SD card that’s in the camera or replace the SD card and format the replacement in the camera.

    If that doesn’t fix the problem, you’ll need to get in touch with support (support@spartancamera.com, 770-582-0004). They’ll do some more troubleshooting and if it’s determined that there is a problem with the camera, they’ll issue an RMA for you to return the camera.

    Ok I am not close to the camera so I guess I’ll have to wait to see if it works tonight at midnight

    Sd card format has update but no photo has been sent to my phone since then and my camera settings still have not updated yet

    If you didn’t get a pic with an F on the info strip, the SD card did not format properly. You’ll need to cancel the settings update and request the format again.

    I didn’t get any pic. I haven’t gotten a pic in 2 days from this camera and I have animals in there 24/7 so Ik there is something wrong with the camera and it’s not sending photos like it should

    And it only connects to the server once a day at midnight. So I can’t keep going without getting any pics and I’ve done everything your team has told me to do other then change the sd card

    You're going to need to get the camera or at least be at the camera to diagnose anything further. Do have a picture of or a link to the SD card that you're using?

    But we already know what the problem is. Is when I changed the settings so if I can’t get it fixed it needs to be sent in so y’all can fix it or send me another one bc I didn’t pay that much for a camera to not work properly

    That may be your issue then, please see the chart with the SD card requirements. 32gb would be max for that camera.

    Ok. I bought one of y’all’s sd to replace it so I’ll try and get to it sometime this weekend and change it out but the sd was sending me pictures just fine until last weekend when I made the changed

    Most likely the reason the settings aren't changing back is because of the SD card. I would replace the card and do a firmware update (see the link and instructions on how to update manually) and then I think you'll be good to go. After you change the SD card and format it in the camera it may update the firmware over the air but since you're going to the camera anyways I would take the update on and SD card just in case it doesn't.
