Shipping fee for RMA on a new camera

I find it very poor customer service when I open up a new camera and it does not work and Spartan Camera wants $11.99 for return shipping. Last one i will buy from them if this is the service you provide especially on a new out of the box in it≥

  I can't get mine to work either. Can get ahold of customer service. Been calling for 2 days. Left messages still no help from them

  What model camera? It's possible that your camera(s) need firmware updates. There are lots of reasons that a camera won't work that are easy to fix.
  
  Firmware, SD cards, and other things cause all sorts of problems.

  There are something like 37 different models of GoCam. Which exact model of GoCam? Some need a firmware update right away. Some don’t.

  It can be the firmware, SD card, some settings. There are all sorts of things that need to be checked but we need to start with the firmware.

  While you are getting the exact model, please find the DSP. With the camera in setup, press the Menu button, go to the third menu tab, down to Information. You may have to scroll down the information screen to get to DSP. Please take a picture of the camera screen that shows the DSP and post it.
