The mobile website is the default view when you access the Support Forum using your phone. Unfortunately, the mobile website does not give you the ability to post photos or screenshots or links or even perform basic text formatting. You need to switch to the Desktop version of the website.
Android
The default mobile website does not provide anything other than basic text entry, as shown below. (The Chrome app is used in this example.)
- Tap the three dots in the upper right corner then tap the box beside Desktop site. In landscape mode, you'll have to scroll down. This screenshot was taken with the phone in landscape mode because the text size is better for editing.
- Tap inside the text box and you'll see the options for adding pictures and links and using some basic text formatting. The menu is shown so that you can see that Desktop site is checked.
iOS
The default mobile website does not provide anything other than basic text entry, as shown below. (The Safari app is used in this example.)
- Tap the symbol to the left of the address bar. If the symbol isn't showing, tap in that location and it will appear. Then from the menu, tap Request Desktop Website.
- Tap inside the text box and you'll see the options for adding pictures and links and using some basic text formatting. The menu is shown so that you can see that you are using the desktop website because Request Mobile Website is available.
