Which ATT models will become obsolete in February?
I tried to sign a couple of my older cameras up today on buy-a-session as was informed not allowed b/c they'll no longer have service after 2/22/21. I knew this was coming, but is there a list of specific models that have 3G? I have a bunch of spartans and have recently signed up 5 of my older cameras using buy-a-session and it worked fine, so I assume those weren't 3G.
The main reason I would like to know is b/c I have a fair amount of cameras in the woods from last turkey season. I'm about to start activating them again and placing new batteries, but if they aren't going to have service, I need to replace them.
thanks for any help

Good point on 2022. But they won't let me buy data currently. It says "we are no longer activating 3G data only devices because our network will no longer support them after February 22, 2022. See www.att.com/3gmigration for more information. Please complete your activation with a compatible 4G LTE, 4G or 5G device instead." I guess they are now obsolete.

Interesting. I renewed two 3G plans in November, for a year. That was a renewal, though, not a new activation.

I just renewed two 3Gs. Guess they are stopping new sims using 3 G.
my 3GS are all dying anyway , literally every month one goes down. They are 5 yrs old which isn’t bad I guess for 24-7-365.I had another one to yesterday , will buy a basic 4G to replace it today. They aren’t too expensive to get the low end 4G.

Agree on the new cameras. The service is far superior and much better quality cameras. I just wish I had known that they were gonna quit allowing an activation this week. Luckily, I activated 5 of my older ones prior to the change. Unfortunately, I have another 5-8 that I won't be able to activate. Oh well, it'll be fine. Ordered 4 new Spartans yesterday from my usual vendor.
