    What is the SQ number showing on the status report?

    Signal currently is "3". Has been between 3 & 4 ever since I've had the camera (for a reference point) & reliable.

    The antenna is a Spartan directional antenna too.

    If you go to my.spartancamera.com and log in and go to camera management there should be a SQ (signal quality) number for the camera. That's a better indication than the actual bars. Is the cameras firmware up to date?

    On the camera management it is '22' in the FAIR cell signal category.

    How far away is the camera? Might want to try defaulting the camera in it's menu. Also can't hurt to format the SD card.

    I will try to toggle the LIVE setting from ON to OFF then to ON again to see if the camera will turn the LIVE mode on.Too bad there wasn't a setting to remotely reboot the camera. There is another cellular provider available, but the camera only seems to do that selection on a reboot.

    It's in a heavily forested area with access to 2 cell carriers about 3.75 to 4 miles to them. (as the crow flies!)

    The antenna is about 25ft off the ground. The camera sends status updates every 2 hours & pics 2x a day unless there are other motion activated pics/video of course.
