The second camera, when I went through the add a camera process on the Spartan web site, registered at first, but now fails test, register and camera. I did not register the second simcard , not sure how to

GC-A4Gb-64443... I paid $12 for the 1 month 250 MB through the spartan website and received a receipt through email. I did not do it through att website because the instructions in the box said that with this SIM card that it came with to activate it through spartan website. Now, when I click add camera I have everything but the registration code, which I can't get because my camera won't show it. When I open up setup, it says searching network and then no SIM found. I do have a premium credit active account. Do I have to go to att and get an additional data service?

Okay, you have the Spartan data plan, which is data and premium bundled together.
Have you made sure the SIM is properly seated in the slot? That message about not finding a SIM means that either the SIM isn’t seated or you have a defective one. I’d remove and reinsert the SIM.
Once the camera is online (showing the carrier and bars), try doing the hello test. On the fourth tab, scroll down to Diagnostics and choose the Hello test. If it fails, the camera isn’t online. If it passes, then you’ll want to try Register to get the regcode that you need to add the camera to your account on the portal.

I got the “sim not found” issue and I read these forums and found my issue was the sim was not seated properly. I either have a defective sim or defective camera, but I was able to get it fixed with some fiberglass tape. I had to use several small pieces of cut up fiberglass tape on the inside of the cover right over the sim to push the sim in further and hold it in place. After doing this it seems to work. Will he contacting Spartan for a warranty claim as this is not how it’s supposed to work
