Camera still taking pics but not texting
I have four GC-Z4Gb Verizon cameras. All set up exactly the same way. Rechargeable batteries internally, Herd 360 solar external setup as well. 16 GB Class 10 SD cards, showing full power. Been working like a charm and then yesterday around 8:00 pm central time they all four quit texting. They still take pictures, and they show up in the Spartan mobile app but no longer receiving texts.
I have 19 available premium credits in my account. Thoughts?

If you want pictures other than to the app, you’re going to need to send them to email. Set up a special email account just for pictures, then set up an email app for that account on your phone.
At some point, texted pics to Verizon may come back, but the same thing could (and probably will) happen again.

I actually got a pic text to me awhile ago but only one. They’re logging on out place so I’ve got a lot of pics on portal but none on email. Just set up text yesterday playing around and just got the one pic this afternoon. No big deal it will work itself out.
Long as pics go to portal life is good. -
My camera just stopped doing everything. Last activity was 8-19-19 at 11am, which was a scheduled event. I have a GC-ATTb. Att says there are no network issues. Firmware was updated with latest 1-31-18 for some time now. What would cause me to have to go out into the field to power off and on the cam manually to reset anything?Just looking for opinion on what might be the cause.

Arc5datesend,
It depends on your camera model. If you are using the app, look at the status report page and it will tell you whether your firmware is current or not. If it isn’t, update it. Or you can look on the web portal, support, support, downloads page.
The maintenance did not have anything to do with reregistering your account. Is your camera still sending pics to the portal and app? It should be. The registration code is a temporary “hook” to get the camera and your account in sync. Once that’s done, the account depends on the camera’s IMEI.
If you want to be sure the camera settings are okay, just request a settings update.

Bentley, tech is still aware of the situation but there's nothing they can do. The reason your son is still getting the pictures is because it's Verizon blocking the messages to your phone and he is using Sprint. I've learned recently it's called filtering. Basically because it's hunting season there's a lot of cameras out and Verizon's automatic protections look at all the photos coming from the server as potential spam or something that could cause a problem to their operations. ATT has done it in the past and it's lasted anywhere from a few days to a long week. Now Verizon is doing it, we have no idea how long this could last.
