How do I add back a camera that I had added already and then deleted?

    Just like you did the first time, enter the IMEI number and then the registration code that the camera gives you when you go to " register camera" in the menu on the camera itself. You can do it from the app or the online portal.

    When I got my camera set up, I took it to the trees and when I set it and tried to turn it on to “set up” it never made a beep sound and the screen stayed black. There is a green light that blinks on the front side of the camera when I turn it to set up.

    So I figured maybe I’d delete the camera from my app and then add it back. When I typed in the IMEI and the registration code, it says it’s invalid.

    That screen should not be black in setup mode. I would try a different SD card. Is this a brand new camera and what is the model number?

    I took the sd card out and put it in my other camera and it works just fine. Yes it is a brand new camera. Gc-u4gb

    Is the other camera a Spartan? Even if it is it can't hurt to try a new SD card, I have seen them work in some cameras but not in others. You can also try it with no SD card and see if the screen acts any differently. If you turn the camera to on does it eventually send you a picture?

    Yes the other is a the same camera. There’s not a sd card in the bad one, and it doesn’t do anything.

    It won’t semd me a picture because I deleted it off my account.

    OK, next I would try moving the switch back and forth very quickly a bunch of times in case there's a little oxidation in it and that's causing the problems. If that doesn't do it I would try a manual firmware update for the camera, make sure that you use the firmware for your exact camera model. See the link below for instructions and list of the firmware. Make sure you use a clean formatted SD card to put the firmware on, I would format it in your other camera if you can. If you have any pending commands in camera management you should cancel them.

    I forgot about you deleting the camera, sorry about that. Will it take a picture and store it on the SD card if you turn it straight to on?
