    You need to make sure you have premium credits and then just turn the camera on to set up and let it find signal. Then press the OK button to take a picture and then press it again to send the picture and see if it sends. The camera may need a firmware update but let's see if it will send first.

    They do if you don't use them. It's one credit per camera per month. I'd buy 10, I think that's where the price break is.

    Ok.  I just purchased some and sent the test photo, but nothing happened.  Does it take a little while for the transaction to go through?

    Actually the photo went to the app but not via text message to my phone.  I know they are aligned because I received a status report via text a while ago.

    The phone carriers are filtering the photos treating them like spam so you may not be able to have it sent by text anymore. Verizon is the worst right now.

    That sucks.  My test photo went to the app.  However, when I turned my camera on and put movement in front of it I heard it take the picture, but it didn't show up anywhere.

    You can send to email but not to text. 

    You can try this using your AT&T picture mail address, but there are no guarantees.

    Trying to get buy me some data, it ask to put my Iccid number in to verify. When I hit verify it says already active, so won’t let me buy none. Could someone help me please

    I am also trying to buy data for this year and when I put ICCID number in and hit verify it tells me already active as well and wont let me buy any. When I look in my account it tells me I have no wireless subscriptions. Any help would be appreciated!

    Mine is the ICCID on the sim. It finds my camera with the IMEI number, but says the ICCID is already active on the sim

    Please list your model camera (GC-what?). Are you buying data from Spartan or from AT&T (Buy-A-Session, DataConnect)?

    Just a note... if you bought data not from Spartan, you won’t have any wireless subscriptions. Wireless subscriptions are only Spartan data plans.

    Thank you Elizabeth for that reminder. I did buy my data from ATT buy a session and was able to get mine working now.

    Blake, if you did the same this is what I had to do.

    att.com/buyasession

    It would not let me login and when i did forget password it would not recognize the IMEI, ICCID, or number/zip code to confirm my account so i could reset my password. ( Not sure what is going on)

    So i decided to just try and create a new account (click the "get your pass") link on the Left side of the page and follow the instructions. At the end you will have the option to buy the plans. Once i did this i turned my camera off and on again and sent a test picture and it worked!

    So I got my plan bought but I can’t get it to get signal. Doing the Firmware update now. Would that be a reason it’s not getting signal?

    It's certainly possible, especially if the firmware update was for connection issues.

    If it's not connecting your going to have to update manually. Here's a link to the downloads with instructions. Cancel the update you have scheduled and then following the instructions in the link.

    Can’t get nothin to work. Bout to throw it away unless someone in here wants to buy it for about 100. Buddy’s got Colverts and they are way easier. It’s a one year old camera I ain’t dealing with this every year.

    Coverts require firmware updates, too. Firmware updates are designed to keep the camera working. You get updates on your computer and on your phone. Do you fuss about those, too? 

    Normally, you’d be able to update the firmware over the air, but if the update is to resolve connectivity issues, your camera may not be able to get online because of the issues with the old firmware so you will have to update manually. It’s not hard.

    When I put the SD card in with the file on it and hit format, it deletes the file off the card. Why is that?

    Because format erases everything on the card and reformats it. You want to find the update firmware option in the menu (if it's a 4g camera) if it's a 3g camera you'll have to follow the instructions using the playback method.

    Format the card BEFORE you put the firmware on it, then apply the firmware update, and THEN format the card again.
