cam seems slow to take photo
I have been getting quite a bit of photos sent to the app that have no deer just the food plot. Is the spartan a slow camera to take a photo. Seems like the camera senses motion and by the time it takes a photo the deer or whatever set it off is gone. I use a Sandisk Ultra SD card 90mb, 32 GB. Is this problem normal for these cameras or do I need to alter the settings? thanks in advance for any help.

Three shot burst isn’t causing the problem, but you get three photos within about a second and a half so it’s usually not very informative. Have you tried photo + video?
It may help if you post that photo that Johnny asked about. It’s possible that the camera may benefit from being aimed differently.

I'm having the same problem. Once the camera triggers the object is gone. I've tried this several times by walking about 30 feet from camera and it sends a photo of just the landscape. Walked pass camera again about 30 feet and nothing, didn't take a photo. I believe something is wrong with my new camera.

If you are getting a different photo than the one you requested, the SD card is bad. If you have formatted the card and it’s still happening, you have a bad card for sure.
You can log on to my.spartancamera.com, Camera Management and look at the number assigned to each photo. If they are all the same, it’s definitely a bad SD card.
