All of my 6 cameras stopped getting Gmail after midnight status's. Is this a GOOGLE problem? I pulled memory cards, they have data on them, so cameras are taking them, they are just not getting to my GMAIL.

Are you using the app at all or just email? If only email are you using premium or running the cameras on auto?

I'm running them on auto, and sending them to my g mail.

There was an outage yesterday but it's supposed to have been fixed. What happens when you take/send a manual photo from one of the cameras? There should be a message on the screen.

I've been getting photos steadily from my cameras all day. The fact that all six of yours quit at the same time indicates that it could be a cell network problems or an email problem, most likely.

There was a Google outage, not a Spartan outage. Several Google services were affected.

I just took a manual photo, it works.

The camera was taking, I just wasn't getting on my g mail.

Did you receive the manual photo? The purpose of the manual photo is to see whether the camera is transmitting photos, not to see whether it is taking them.

I'll have to check on possibly having a g mail problem. I',m getting all kinds of other g mail OK.

On my Verizon phone, I am getting everything as far as I know.   I'll look into it further.

    OK, its taking, not transmitting.

When you sent the manual photo, did the camera screen say that it sent the photo? Or did it say that it failed? If it sent the photo, have you looked in your SPAM folder.

What model cameras are these? GC-what? They're showing that they are connected to the cell network? Do they pass the Hello test? (Cameras in setup mode, scroll to the fourth tab, down to Diagnostic, Hello test)

I use these around the house for security purposes. Will go undo cable, and undo security boxes on them.

Bring them inside and get more info.

Its just odd that they all seemed to quit at the same time. I get e mails of pics on my cell phone and on g mail

both on cell phone and on home PC.

Have you checked your Verizon account? Are these newer models (within the last couple or years) or older models?

It's not likely that it's something on Spartan's end. I've gotten hundreds of pics in the last 24 hours (Verizon models on Verizon cell plan, on Spartan data plan; AT&T models on AT&T Buy-A-Session, on Spartan plan; US Cellular on a US Cellular plan of some sort). The Spartan server hasn't had any problems that I'm aware of.

They passed the hello tests last night, will take awhile to go get them. Nothing in spam.

I was having Google problems last night on a lot of stuff. I just quit, waited till today, and noticed my cameras were all crazy, not working. I will double check everything on my cameras, and also check to see if google may have changed, or not updated info

on them. Thanks for your help, will contact you again if need to.

There is something systemic wrong. It’s a matter of figuring out where.

I’m surprised you’re runnning two current models on auto. No large thumbnails, no transmitted video, no transmitted HD photos, no setting changes, no scheduled events.

I have 3 gocams and I also stopped getting pix thru to my Gmail account last night on Verizon. Gc-v4gb. Appears to be taking and sending pix but not making it to gmail. Other gmail emails are getting thru

I've reported it. It may be something between the Spartan server and gmail. Could have been triggered by the gmail outage yesterday, which may have caused feedback to the server that shut down emails to prevent being labelled as spam.

All 4 of my cameras are  model #  GC-Z4Gb2. I can send pics off the SDHC card directly to my G MAIL   ok.

Hello tests , and manual send photos sent w/o problems. The cameras appear to be operating ok.

G Mail not getting them for some reason.

Well, my 2 old 3 G cameras are working better than before going strictly to my Verizon text.

They are the  GC-VZWb on 4112, and the GC-VCTb on 4426..................

This may be some sort of filtering being done by the carriers, basically they treat the pictures like they are spam and block them, you may (or may not) get a bunch of them all at one time. Do you  have a different email that's not Gmail to try and see if it makes a difference?

I'm having the same issues with not getting any emails to my gmail account.  The last email I got was on 12/15/2020 at 8:00am.

I am seeing the pictures in the app, just not getting the emails.  I verified the correct email address.  I'm on ATT, and the camera is a GC-A4Gb

I have four camera that stopped send photos to my gmail account.  The gmail account is work fine with other email services.  If I was guessing, google has blocked the Spartan emails from coming through.  Verizon did it last year.  I talk to a tech guy at Verizon that said the wrong thing and I caught it.  Verizon limits the emails for Spartan on a daily basis.  Tested it this fall and was getting all photos to gmail and about 1/3 to my Verizon phone.

It’s been reported but we don’t have any info back from the people who deal with this.

Verizon blocking Spartan text pics is a known issue from last summer, I think. Spartan hasn’t recommended sending via text for several years.

Thanks!  I just verified that this took care of my issue, and I'm once again receiving pics via gmail.

    Thanks again for this fix.

John Lockburner is the one who remembered it and suggested it. It’s been a long time since we’re run into the problem and in the past it’s been a spotty problem with a few people’s emails. I put two and two together and had come up with a likely explanation but had forgotten about the email verification.

I changed all of my cameras to an old email address on bellsouth.net, which forwarded its received emails to my gmail

address, and I starting getting pictures from my cameras to my gmail again. I don't know why, unless some of the settings in

gmail got changed. I did not make any changes to these settings.   Any suggestions would be appreciated. Still cannot go

    straight to gmail.

This is weird. I posted this before the one where I mention Johnny but it’s gone.

For those having problems with photo delivery to Gmail:

This appears to fix the problem. Please use the link below to input your email address. An email will be sent to that address and you’ll need to click the link in the email to verify. Then everything should be okay.

    https://my.spartancamera.com/email-verification

My guess is that when gmail was rejecting all email a couple of days ago, the Spartan server got rejection notices and immediately quit sending to those email addresses to keep from having the emails blocked by Gmail as spam. Once your email is flagged, you have to verify.

I just tried this with two gmail addresses and I’m getting pics to both now.

    Elizabeth and everybody else...

After "SPARTAN CAMERA EMAIL VERIFICATION" link that you sent me, all of my cameras are

working as they should.  Great customer support and products. A learning experience for me

as we tried to figure out how to fix this.   I went through every camera, and verified settings, and checked both

E MAIL account settings also. Does anyone know if a replacement on, setup, off switch is available or repairable?

    A GREAT THANKS,

    James (Dan) Dunn
