What are the camera models, we need to first determine if they are 3g or 4g cameras

OK, that's a 4g camera. Are you getting your data through Spartan or ATT buy a session?

I'm getting my data through Spartan I believe since that's who I pay.

Let's try this first, go into the cameras menu and to diagnostics and to APN, the password is 123456, look and see what the APN is set to, make sure it's set to APNsp. Press OK to save your changes and then back out to the main menu where you see what the camera is looking at on the screen. Turn the camera off and then back to setup and see if it finds signal.

    Where are you located?

You have to do this on the camera itself, you probably have to scroll to the right and down to see the diagnostics option.

I  have the cameras, both of them.  Got it!  When I try to see the APN setting it says "system busy:

Keep trying to get in, the camera will time out and stop searching for signal and that's when you can enter into those settings.

    That's after the APN change/confirmation?

No.  I never could get past "system busy".  The system busy text disappeared and the register network message popped up

After the register network pops up can you enter the menu?

You can also try defaulting the camera in it's menu and formatting the SD card

No.  I can't' get in the menu when that pops up.  I've tried formatting the SD card every day since march 1.  It always times out.  I've tried from my phone and from the camera

It won't format from the camera?

You may have to go into that APN setting and keep trying to enter until the camera stops searching rather than waiting from the main menu.

Yeah.  It won't format from the camera either.  And I bought new SD cards that match exactly the ones recommended.  I will keep trying the APN setting

When you press the OK button to format the SD card does a message pop up?

Yes,  It tells me that it will delete all the content and to confirm ok.

That's correct, then you press the left arrow once to highlight YES and then press the OK button to format the card.

Yes.  That's what I keep doing but it times out

That's very strange, it should just format and go back to the yes/no screen. If you have any pending commands I would cancel them.

I agree.  I've canceled the format request I did in the app on my phone and did it manually in the camera settings.

OK, since the camera isn't connecting the format through the app won't complete and that's why it gives the time out message. Any luck getting into the APN settings?
