Go Cam turns on by itself after installing new batteries and overheats
The batteries died in May and I am just getting out to check my camera in July. It was packed full of ants and eggs. I used a can of compressed air to clean it all out. Upon installing new batteries, the camera turned on by itself without using the switch. It overheated and turned off after app stated it was 149F. I removed the batteries and let it cool down. Tried it several times and it does the same thing. The screen shows the message “You don’t have to be there.” Connected my Verizon and the light on the front flashes continuously unless I cover the sensor.

I froze the camera and got all of the ants and eggs cleaned out. Upon reinstalling the batteries, the camera (screen) won’t turn on now. The green light flashes when sensor picks up movement but that’s the only sign of life. Just noticed some heat building up where the buttons are located. You think it’s repairable? Bought it in spring of 2019.

I would email support@spartancamera.com and ask for an RMA to send it in to be looked at. It can't hurt
