    I would double check the cameras phone number first. You can also try logging out of the app and back in. Do you have an Android or iPhone?

    That’s not actually something that’s officially supported. It dates back to the old 2G and 3G cameras on text plans. I wish I had an explanation for why the two cameras don’t work the same, but I don’t.

    I’m not sure why you’re wanting to take picture now, but I use scheduled events to have my cameras check in with either a photo or a status report about every three hours. That way, the camera communicates and I don’t have to do anything to make it check in. I don’t know whether that would work for you or not.

    Thanks for the input! I have two 3g cams and two 4g cams. They all excepted the *500# command until about a year ago, one of my 4g cams stopped accepting it. I need 'picture now' for security reasons and for the same reason Spartan began marketing the GoLive camera.

    I'm running Android. I will check with Verizon to see if all their protocol is the same for both 4g cams.
