I need directions on how to update my firmware.
I have a Spartan GoCam 4G/LTE
GC-A4Gb2-MO
I have had this camera in the box and unused since November of 2021. I decided to unbox it, purchase additional AT&T service and register the camera. I placed the proper sd card and batteries and no service connection. The only thing I can figure is that the firmware is out of date. I can't seem to figure out how to transfer and OTA bin file to the sd card and then get it in the camera. IDK. I really would like a phone call with some instruction but I cannot get a call back or email or anything. Thanks

The file you need and the instructions are at this link below:
https://my.spartancamera.com/downloadWith the camera in setup, press Menu, go to the third menu tab then down to Information. On the information page, what is the date/time beside the DSP?
Have you bought a data plan for it? -
So what did or didn’t happen? We need some info in order to be able to help.
Here’s a video that may help: -
GCA4GB2(6).OTA
This the OTA file that I get saved onto my sd card everytime. I am apparently doing something wrong in the process of saving the file to my sd card.
GC-A4Gb2-MO This is my camera model and I am choosing the file that says GC-A4Gb2 Blackout, no MO or Mossy Oak option is listed.

That's the correct file but you have downloaded it to your computer 7 times, that's why there's a 6 in parenthesis in the file name. Either change the filename and delete the (6) part of it or delete the file from your computer and download it again just once. On the card it should just look like GCA4GB2.OTA

When I removed the space and parenthesis and number 6 it downloaded the updated file to camera with no problem. It all worked. That last bit of information you provided was exactly what I needed. Hopefully this thread help somebody with the same problem I had. I understood and read about the parenthesis and spaces and numbers, I just thought it was downloading that way. I didn't realize I could just simply use the keyboard to remove the space and parenthesis and number and it would work. Thanks John!
