    Here's a link to the updates and instructions. You'll put the firmware on a clean SD card and load it into the camera.

    It's not that involved really, you click on the update and it downloads to your computer, then you put it on the SD card and put the SD card in the camera. There's an option in the camera to update the firmware, click on that and it will load to the camera and you should be all done.

    Do not turn on encryption in the settings, you'll get an image with a lock on it instead of pictures. Yes, even though the firmware is up to date loading it again can sometimes fix problems. make sure that you load the firmware for your exact camera model.

    You have to click on it in the cameras menu, not the app. If you formatted the card then you'll have to reload the update again.

    still says registered Network failed to check your sim card.... had my wife help me download two SD card follow directions on computer..... it says last update was 10:27..... today is the 29th shouldn't it show that on camera management?

    I watched it update on the little screen on my camera but still getting no service it seems.... says searching for service then registered Network failed

    I would try going into the cameras menu one more time and default the camera. I'm sorry, I really thought the update would get it going. It sounds like you've done everything correctly.

    If that doesn't do you then you'll have to contact tech and get an RMA to send it in to be looked at.
