Going through your data too quickly? Here are some tips on how to save data usage!
Turn off Time-Lapse
When you set turn on Time Lapse, photos will be taken and sent based on the set timmer. Example, if your Time Lapse is set to 5 minutes, it's going to take a photo every 5 minutes 24/7 until its turned off. It's the number case for "False Triggered" photos.
For more info see setting reference: LINK.
Switch from Video mode
Videos are around 10x - 50x larger than photos. Thus would use more data.
Try switch the Camera mode from from Video to Photo or Photo + Video mode.
If you really need videos, try Photo + Video mode where it will take a photo and start recording a video after it takes the photo. The camera will send the photo but not the video unless you request it from your account on app or our website.
Change Thumbnail Size setting
The base plan 500MB per month can send around 2500 large thumbnails or 10,000 normal thumbnail photos. Changing the thumbnail size to Normal, and your camera will be able to send 400% more photos!
